PYTEC's energy recovery
Up to now, PYTEC is the only company which has carried out a
12-hours test run using pyrolysis oil as a fuel in a modified Diesel engine (Mercedes Benz, 450 kW)
of a
CHP-plant. At the consumption of 140 litres/h Bio-Oil, the average electricity production was
300 kW/h.
The pictures show the control room with waste gas temperature and ammeter,
and the engine of the
CHP-plant.
